New Dwelling, Spaunton

Works are currently on site with a new detached stone built dwelling set within the village of Spaunton in the North York Moors National Park.

Forming part of a well defined street scape, the front of the property has been designed to resemble a traditional stone 'Yorkshire' cottage with painted horizontal sliding sash windows.

The rear of the house faces due South and overlooks the fields beyond. In contrast to the front, large areas of glazing have been provided to take advantage of passive solar gain and the extensive views.

Unfinished oak and glass combined with powder coated aluminium roof glazing and a galvanised steel balcony help to create a contrasting rear aesthetic that allows the open plan interior to blend with the external space.
